The Equal Skies Charter Launches Industry Research

Yesterday evening The Equal Skies Charter spoke at The British Aviation Group’s annual dinner held at the Landmark hotel in London.

The event was attended by the Equal Skies Project Manager Harvey Matthewson and Aerobility’s CEO Mike Miller-Smith as well as other guests representing the organisations from across the aviation and aerospace industries.

In his first speech as project manager of The Equal Skies Charter, Harvey Matthewson laid out the vision of the project and took the opportunity to launch the Equal Skies Questionnaire which he described as ‘ground-breaking.’

The Equal Skies Questionnaire is open to any organisation who operates in the aviation and aerospace industries and aims to collect data on the sector’s approach to disability employment. The results of the questionnaire will from a report which is set to be published in the summer of 2024 and will also shape the way that the Charter supports the sector.

Organisations who contribute to the research will be entered into a draw to win a VIP tour of Gulfstream’s facility at Farnborough Airport in the UK.

The questionnaire can be completed by visiting www.equalskiescharter.org/questionnaire and closes on the 17th of May 2024.
